OUR SPACE APPS JOURNEY

Sharing My Work with Others

As two high school students we weren't expecting all that much from this Space Apps challenge. However, being curious and motivated students we decided to try it out, hoping for the best. Although we were limited by our knowledge and capabilities (ie not being able to code at a high level) we threw ourselves in our project. We chose a challenge that seemed interesting and one that didn't require too many additional skills. Additionally, both being incredibly interested in aerospace engineering and satellite observations as a topic, this challenge seemed perfect. We also wanted to choose a challenge that could make changes in the world and the opportunity to spread the importance of Earth observations seemed perfect. As such, we hope you enjoy our Wix site and our project as a whole!

"Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark."

"In our obscurity – in all this vastness – there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves."

"The Earth is the only world known, so far, to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate."

Carl Sagan
